In this video, I will explain the principles of Earned Value Management by applying them to a case.

Our project created deliverables and we have the planning cost information and the BAC. On day 6, the management wants to have a review of the status of the project. In order to provide that information, we have to complete the following steps:

– Determine the S-curve and calculate the EV and determine the AC (given)
– Calculate the SV and CV
– Find the performance parameters SPI, CPI, and CSI
– Calculate the RTD by calculation
– Find the graphical solution for the RTD and the EAC
– Calculate the different EACs
– Evaluate the PMs estimate
– Calculate the TCPI
